be very wary of their vetran plan, I have been very let down by it as it only covers your horse or pony from injury fees, this includes as I found out death and disposal costs, they only cover a horse or pony over the age of 15 for injury only incidencts not anything to do with illness.

So far so good, I wanted an insurance to cover £5000 vet bills without having to value the horse higher which they did, excess is a one off fee and my one claim for laminitis has been very smooth

Didn' find them any more exoensive than anyone else for my mare. Had a claim for fractured splint bone which was paid rapidly without issue or argument

Petplan are great ,a little on the expensive side but they do offer you much more for your money than alot of other insurance companys.They settled my claim very promptly.Customer service are very goo

quite expensive though they do fully cover vetrans up to the age of 25
